It's a full width rack rather than plastic box, and comes with an internal PSU and 1/4 inch jacks instead of phonos.Įdit: Talking of guitars, Behringer's V-Amps (their Pod) are almost given away these days. I've got a Phonic clone of the Midiverb 1 too. They look boring and untweakable on paper but they sound great. Other cheap favourites of mine are the Midiverb 1 and 2. I think the fat pinned power socket was used to ensure that people don't underpower it with the wrong PSU! Zoom used a similar chunky socket on their RFX ones. Great for delays though, and at current prices I couldn't bring myself to sell it when I got hold of an SE70. I've got the SE50 too but I've never tried guitar through it. The bottom end can get chunky and the top end isn't a load of biting sizzle. I think it works quite well as a way of recording guitar direct.
